SEASON: Fall

CREW:
Established: 2002-2003
Coaches: Josh Pelletier (Boys) & Anthony DiNicola (Girls) assisted by Justin Palmer & Rachel Wagner
Levels: Co-ed Varsity/JV/Novice
Affiliation: Connecticut Public Schools Rowing Association (CPSRA)
Approximate number of athletes: 55-65 (no cuts)
Practice: After school at Winding Trails (Farmington) - Every day (transportation provided by Lewis Mills to and from practice
Competitions: Number of Regattas: about 10 in the spring and 5 in the fall of 2007; Usually on weekends - times vary
Notes: No prior experience is necessary to join. Not every athlete rows both seasons - many do; A lot of their budget is fundraised; Purchased new shell in Spring of 2007. No prior experience is necessary to try-out.

FOOTBALL:
Established: 2008-2009; Coop from 05/06-07/08

Levels: JV
Affiliation: Pequot Conference
Number of Contests: Approximately 9-11 per level
Approximate number of Athletes: Varies based on interest (no cuts)
Practice: Every day after school
Competitions: JV typically plays on Mondays in the afternoon. All JV games are away. Final contest will be a Thanksgiving Day game. Home games are played at Muzzy Field in Bristol.
Notes: 2008 was the first year of the program.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY:
Established:

Levels: Varsity/JV (competition is only at varsity level)

Number of Contests: Approximately 12
Approximate number of athletes: 12-15 (no cuts)
Practice: After school every day - meet at Tennis Courts; Some
weekend competitions
Competitions: Usually during the week at 4:00; a few Saturdays; One or two early dismissals are possible for competitions
Notes: Team season ends in Early November with the Class or Open Championships; Travels with the girls team for most meets
BOYS SOCCER:

Number of Contests: 2 per week (Occasionally 3); 16-20 total + preseason scrimmages - actual # determined by success in State Tournament
Approximate number of Athletes: 35-40; Cuts possible; based on number of athletes trying out; Previous playing experience likely
Practice: Every day after school on school fields; Some Saturdays and an occasional Sunday
Competitions: Usually during the week at 3:45; Some night games are likely; Game times move earlier late in the season due to daylight decreases; State Tournament games begin at 2:00; Several early dismissals are required due to length of trips and start times
Notes: Season end upon elimination from State Tournament - Nov. 16-17 is Championship weekend.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL:

Practice: Every day after school 2:45-5:30; Some Saturdays and occasional Sundays
Competitions: Usually during the week - Usually JV 4:00/Varsity 5:15 start; Sometime 5/6:15.
Notes: Season end upon elimination from State Tournament - Nov. 16-17 is Championship weekend.

BOYS BASKETBALL:

INDOOR TRACK:

Competitions: Usually two nights per week. Some triple-headers are played. Freshmen also play some independent games on off days.

SWIMMING/DIVING:

Practice: Every day after school at the Family Swim Center in Bristol. Transportation is provided by the school to practice.
Competitions: Usually during the week in the evenings. Some weekend competitions do occur.
Notes: Divers pratice at the Giomatti Center in Bristol with the Bristol H.S. Co-op team.
CHEERLEADING:

Notes: Team is Co-ed. Try-outs occur in the Spring of the previous school year.
