Internet 4 Classrooms: I think this is a great place to start if you are looking for an activity that works on a specific concept or skill because they have selected specific activities from many different websites and sorted them by math topics. The link is to the math portion, but they also have a similar listing of activities for Language Arts topics.

National Library of Virtual Manipulatives (NLVM) - It sounds sort of scary, but this is really a great collection of activities that use many of the same tools (such as Base Ten blocks) that we use in the classroom but in virtual format. They are sorted by grade levels and math strands. This is a link to the K-2 activities.
PBS Early Math – This is a link to the 174 math activities and downloadable pages that use the PBS characters from shows like Arthur, Clifford and Cyber Chase. You will need to scroll through the pages as it only lists 10 activities per page.
Sesame Street Math Games – This is a collection of math activities that feature the Sesame Street characters.
BBC Numeracy Activities -This is a collection of activities created by the BBC and uses characters from their TV shows. The students may like the accents. |
