Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) at Lewis Mills High School

Students may bring in their own devices and doing the "Region 10" wireless network.

Please note that students are responsible for their own devices include the operation of those devices. Region 10 does not provide tech support for personally owned devices.

6165A -Administrative Regulation - Pay particular attention to the sections regarding personally owned devices that begin on Page 3

6165 - Responsible Use Policy - This replaces the pervious "Acceptable Use" policy.

Any device can access the BYOD network if it has a wireless card capable of joining a wireless AC or N network. Older devices that can only use wireless B or G will not work. Smart Phones, Tablets, and Laptops may be brought to school and used on the BYOD network.

Accessing the BYOD Network
1. Join the network "Region 10" on the device. There is no password
2. Open a web browser and navigate to a web page. The BYOD network sign-in page appears. Scroll through the new Responsible Use Policy and agree to it.
3.. Next enter your network user name and password. You will then be able to use the BYOD network.

This is something will last for 45 days and then you will have to join again.
