United States History Grading Policy
Homework- 10 percent of the total grade
Class work - 90 percent of the total grade (i.e. tests,
quizzes, presentations, essays, research projects and
debates)
Homework Expectations
Homework assignments are listed on weekly
assignment sheets but are subject to change.
Homework is generally assigned daily and
must be submitted on the due date. Late
work is only accepted if extenuating circumstances
prevented completion of the assignment. Students
who are absent must comply with the LSM Student
Handbook policy in regard to makeup work.
Class work Expectations
Students will arrive promptly with materials necessary to
complete the assignment due that day. Attendance and
tardiness will be addressed in accordance with the LSM
attendance policy.
