At Lake Garda, our mission is to develop self-confident, knowledgeable students who will strive to be the best they can be.

This is a tremendous undertaking and one that we take very seriously.

How do we do this?

Self-Confidence is a characteristic that we seek to develop in all our students. Involving them in developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences provides our students with opportunities to increase their understanding of new material – all the while helping them grow as confident learners.

Knowledge increases with experiences – especially well-planned learning experiences taught by our outstanding staff. Each of our skilled teachers develops a wide variety of learning experiences for the students that align with our curriculum. The curriculum is developed according to state benchmarks and standards at each grade level. Student achievement data is gathered and examined regularly in order to adjust instruction to meet individual needs. You will find that materials taught at one grade level may be covered again in another – only more in-depth. This spiraling allows each grade to build upon earlier learning experiences and move to higher levels of understanding.

Being the best they can be” is about developing as a learner and as a person. It is our hope that each Lake Garda student will grow to be a positive role model for others by demonstrating good academic and personal responsibility. We will continue to maintain our high expectations for effort and conduct just as you do at home. The partnership between home and school is a valuable piece of insuring each child’s success in school and we look forward to working with all of our families throughout the year.

Learning is not a one-time thing…it is an all the time thing.

We at Lake Garda are committed to working with our families to help every child reach their fullest potential!
