Frankie Rivera

Frankie Rivera, a musician from Puerto Rico, came in to share his love and talent for Latin music. He showed the 3rd and 4th grade students many authentic Puerto Rican percussion instruments. Some of them were the guitar, the cuatro-a 10 string guitar, the claves-sticks, the guiro-a dry hollow gourd, cucharitas-spoons, tambourines, maracas, castanets, a cow bell, the triangle, and many more. |

He also taught the students a song about counting to 10 and one about the sounds of different animals. The students enjoyed listening to Frankie and they really enjoyed the singing, dancing and actually using some of his authentic instruments. |

We are very grateful to Frankie for sharing his time and love of music with the Lake Garda school Spanish learners. |
