Reading With Strategies

The “Reading Detective” (aka Mrs. Lamb) visited our classroom to tell the children about important early reading strategies. The children will be introduced to seven different early reading strategies:

1. Look at the Picture           2. Does It Make Sense?  3. Get Your Mouth Ready 4. Does It Look Right?

5. Reread 6. Does It Sound Right? 7. Look for Chunks

These strategies are essential for developing independent readers.
