Typical Day of a fourth grader:
During a typical day, students in fourth grade spend two and a half hours on language arts (reading, writing, listening and speaking), an hour on math, and approximately one hour on social studies or science. They have one 45 minute period of art, music, or physical education/health per day. Classes also visit the computer lab on a regular basis. Students in fourth grade have 15 minutes of beginning Spanish per day. Lunch is 25 minutes and 20 minutes of recess daily. Please contact your child’s teacher for the specific times and routines for the week.

Meterologist Visits Fourth Grade
On Wednesday, November 28th, Meteorologist Art Horn came to Lake Garda to present his Weather Program to the 4th Grade. They learned how the weather works.

In October, the 4th grade attended a presentation by Dr. DeNoble titled “Inside the Dark Side”. His presentation focused on his nicotine research, the highly addictive nature of nicotine and the treatments that are available for nicotine addiction.
