In December, Mrs. McGlynn’s students researched a European country their ancestors came from and completed a report about that country.  Students learned how to use reference materials such as an encyclopedia, the internet, personal interviews, and books.  It was required that they include a bibliography, citing their reference materials.  Students learned how Christmas and other holidays were celebrated in other countries.  For our Holiday Party, students brought in food from their country to share with the other students. As you can tell from the photos, we had a smorgasbord that day.
