We had a beautiful day for a field trip to Indian Rock Apple Orchard.  We learned about how apples grow, how to pick an apple, different kinds of apples, and how to make apple cider.  Our favorite parts were using the apple picker to reach the apples on the tree, tasting different kinds of apples, and making our own apple cider.
