Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who came in to help us with “Pumpkin Math!”  The class was split up into five groups and each group had a chance to weigh their pumpkin, measure its height and width (with linker cubes for non-standard measurement and a ruler for standard measurement), and count the number of seeds by sorting into piles of ten.  Parents even carved the pumpkins for us at the end of the lesson!
