Old Business

None

New Business

Contacted by Lake Garda PTA president, they had donated $500 to 5th grade teachers to start of the year.  Is Harwinton Consolidated PTA able to do the same?  Discussion took place. A motion to approve the donation was made by Valerie Willett and seconded by Gjyl Kozlu. All in favor none opposed. Motion carries.

Notepads “A Note To School” – we sold all that were left at open house, parents are asking for more.  Do we want to have more ordered?  Discussion took place and decision to order more was made.  We will sell them at cost and have them available for sale at PTA events.  Janet Gaudiana will look into where the original notepads came from and Liz will order them.

Contacted by Litchfield Hills Photography – Would the PTA be interested in hosting a picture session for any families interested in having black and white photos done of their children?  A percent would be donated to PTA.   Discussion held, Liz will look into what the profit would be and the possibility of displaying sample pictures at conference time.

HCS school photos – We switched to a different vender this year. Any feedback can be given to the HCS office.

Ms. Sarria is looking to do a Spanish concert in the January timeframe. Looking for PTA help in some way, more details will follow.

NO December Meeting – A motion to approve NO meeting in December  was made by Adriana Costa-Brown and seconded by Linda Surveski. All in favor none opposed. Motion carries.

Popcorn Party was won by Mrs. Garry’s class for most parents in attendance at tonight’s PTA meeting!
