Treasurer’s Report - Janet Gaudiana:
Janet presented a proposed budget for next year. Since we’re losing approximately 15% of our population, Janet reduced amount of profit by 15% for the major fundraisers.
The amount budgeted for committees stayed constant. The amount for books & supplies for classroom or library increased from $2,000 to $3,000 to cover district budget cuts.
Janet asked PTA members and committee chairs for any concerns or corrections. She will make appropriate adjustments for the vote next month.
Detailed Proposed Budget Reports were available at the PTA meeting.

Leftover money to be given to teachers to purchase resource materials from Scholastic (unsure of exact dollar amount at this time).
Bingo: It was a big success and it was very well attended. $1,071 brought in ($321 profit). Michelle Huydic will chair this committee next year.
New Business: Linda Surveski mentioned that new tables are needed for PTA events so if there is additional money left in the budget, we might want to consider that.

A secretary is needed for next year.
Ideas were discussed to attract new PTA volunteers: post photos of events in hallways for kindergarten orientation day with lists of needed volunteers, create a similar slide show for the web site, offer chances to win a prize for new PTA members at the Open House/Ice Cream Social.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10.
