During the year, my eighth grade classes have a pen-pal relationship with second and third grade bilingual students from Lincoln Elementary School in New Britain, Connecticut. We meet face to face via interactive field trips twice. We also hold a drive to obtain school supplies for the children and we "buy" these items during our store unit.
