My 8^th graders recently held “stores” in which they bargained in Spanish for donated school supplies. This community action project was generously funded by the 8^th grade parents. We are giving these supplies to our buddies at Lincoln Elementary School in New Britain during our next face-to-face meeting. This is a not-so-rare moment of lightness and levity during our normal lesson!
