Music
Grade 7
Grade 7 Music emphasizes music reading, writing, and listening. Students learn the proper usage of time signatures, clefs, dynamics, tempo, and melody. Class projects are done and handed in, and various folk songs are employed toward the beginning of the 6 weeks. A composer composition, written piece of music, and mobile on music are some of the projects.
Grade 8
All of the 7th grade music skills and techniques are again learned in 8th grade. Different projects are assigned, including creating a musical theme park.
