To reinforce and re-teach new concepts introduced in classes
- Clarifying homework directions and expectations
- Holding study groups
- Encouraging peer tutoring
- Providing time to complete class work tests/quizzes
To teach study strategies
- Teaching students how to answer various types of questions
- Reinforcing note taking skills
- Continuing to teach highlighting skills
- Continuing to teach self-advocacy skills
- Teaching students to devise mnemonic strategies
